Top 10 Sin Cities: No.5 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio is one of their biggest playgrounds. Pick a beach -- Copacabana to Ipanema -- and stare at topless women all day. Of course, this is all a prelude to when the fun begins at night. Slip into any of the city’s nightclubs to grind with Brazil’s best over-pounding bass lines and bossa nova. Rio also makes our sin cities list because it has legal brothels with a menu of services. To truly experience Rio, however, visit during its annual Carnaval, a weeklong festival of parades, music and masquerades that brings Rio’s flesh and fantasy culture to a boiling point. Bring plenty of sun and fun protection.

If there is one place in the world offering every single earthly delight any sane person could want, Rio de Janeiro is it. Sprawling beaches, beautiful people, parties 24/7 and people living life at full tilt is what this Brazilian city of seven million is all about. The Marvelous City, as it is often called, is the cultural, financial and fashion center not only of Brazil, but of the whole South American continent as well.

Top 10 Sin Cities: #6 Moscow, Russia

What happens when a culture that has been bottled for decades finally gets uncorked? Insanity. You’ll find every kind of nightclub -- from hardcore techno to rock to trance -- jammed with people from across Europe. Do you want to find a long-term thing? No need to mail-order when you can meet a wife at clubs and strip clubs near Red Square. Prostitution is illegal, but punishments are often paid off with rubles. You’ll see prostitutes out in the open at tochkas (outdoor markets for prostitutes) or at the city’s clubs.

Also check out The Hungry Duck. A bar that runs ladies’ night three times a week with male strippers for two hours, and then lets men into the club once the strippers are offstage. It has been shut down repeatedly for lewdness and public sexual acts. And your party fuel? Only one of the best vodkas in the world. Comrade, your revolution starts here.

Top 10 Sin Cities: #7 New Orleans

Beads, boobs, beer, and bongs make this city the North American choice for Mardi Gras. Its sinful history dates back to the 19th century when it was a mixing ground of music, prostitution, French food, and hedonism. Nowadays, you’ll find a modern mix of this in the city’s French Quarter, with strip joints, porn shops and bars to satisfy your appetite and make the locale one of the most tantalizing sin cities around. The good news: The area has been largely rebuilt since Hurricane Katrina, so you’ll find it accessible.

Prostitution is illegal, but it has a long history here. American Senator David Vitter can attest to this. He got pinched for his regular visits with a Canal Street hooker,  but in a city that advertises “Live Sex Shows” and “Wash the Girl of Your Choice,” sinning is as integral as breathing.

Strip Clubs

New Orleans French Quarter is the raunchiest place for strip clubs. They offer the world, and sometimes it's available. I have seen everything from live sex shows to transvestites there, and that was actually not even in a club; just put in the open on Bourbon Street. The girls are usually pretty nice in a Southern way, and a good time can be had if you find the right girl. Stay away from the clip joint clubs with barkers out front. The real clubs don't need barkers.  Click here for a list of the best NOLA strip clubs

Swingers

New Orleans has a large swingers scene and is home to several couples festivals, conventions and regular parties. Whether you’re single or a couple, new to the scene or a regular, there is something for everyone. Click here for a buffet of swingers activities.

Top 10 Sin Cities: #8 Beirut

Beirut: Hotbed of Vices in the Middle East

"Life is for living"! That’s the quintessence of the Lebanese life-style. After 15 years of civil war Beirut is now regaining what it was before...Paris of the middle-east.  Beirut has the crown as one of the most chic happening cities in the world. Newsweek recently claimed it one of the '12 Cities of Style' and one of the top 3 cities to spend New Year's Eve. However, the image of Beirut  is still related with war, kidnapping, bullet-scare buildings and nowadays also with Hezbollah and Al-Qaida. Lebanon = Arab= Muslim Terrorists. This image is totally wrong and some newspapers are finally starting to recognize it.

Food

Lebanese food is known to be the best in the middle east. Never eat too much of the delicious entrees (Mezze) as the main course is huge as well. Don’t forget to wash down your food with a cool Almaza beer or excellent lebanese wines (Chateau Musaar, Ksara and Kefraiya). You can also visit the wine-valleys and have a wine tasting there.

Nightlife

Beirut nightlife is extraordinary. It does not matter where you are going, you will see the crowd dancing in ecstasies on chairs, tables and even the bar. Lebanon has some great DJs and, of course you can hear some tunes which are not even played in Europe. You usually start your night at 10.30 or 11 at Monot street. You find one bar next to the other. If you look for the more alternative crowd, check out Rue Gourraud in Gemmayze, which can be considered as the “Soho” of Beirut, the latest hang-out of the arty scene.

Top 10 Sin Cities: #9 Macau

Have you been to the Venetian, Wynn and MGM hotel casinos in Las Vegas? Now try the ones in China. Located in South China, Macau's legalized gambling laws have made big money for the country and have ranked it as one of our top 10 sin cities. It has already surpassed Las Vegas twice for total gambling revenue and boasts the world’s largest casino, the Venetian Macau. In all, it packs 26 casinos into 11 square miles with plans for plenty more to come. Like Las Vegas, Macau also advertises tons of women for extracurricular entertainment. While the prostitution laws contradict themselves in the books (it is legal, but procuring it is not), it’s practiced more and more out in the open.

Down on your luck? You might get lucky here.
